State-of-the-Art Sports & Events Venue Opens its Doors, Announces New Name
Iron Peak Sports & Events features courts, fields, family entertainment center, and multiple event spaces in Hillsborough, NJ.
(Hillsborough, NJ) October 1, 2020: New Jersey’s newest sport and event venue is excited to open its doors and introduce the community to Iron Peak Sports & Events (ironpeakse.com). The Hillsborough-based complex, formerly known as Apex Sports & Events, will provide a state-of-the-art location for sports competition, family entertainment, and corporate and community events.
“Our facility is designed to provide a unique and memorable experience for all of our guests,” states Gregg Wilke, long-time Hillsborough resident and managing partner. “We believe our name should reflect that mission, and Iron Peak Sports & Events will set us apart in the marketplace.”
Along with the three outdoor turf fields that have been operational since June, Iron Peak Sports & Events contains four basketball courts, eight volleyball courts, a full-sized indoor turf field under a dome bubble, multiple meeting space options, and full-service concessions. Cliffhanger Entertainment, the family entertainment center located within the 140,000 square-foot building is a brand-new adventure area featuring a ninja course, climbing walls, ropes course, and redemption arcade.
“We’ve been eagerly anticipating this day, and can’t wait to show off our new building and our broad lineup of offerings,” exclaims Wilke.
A number of protocols and procedures have been implemented to provide guests with the safest experience possible while inside the building. These include screenings for all guests, increased frequency of cleaning in high-touch areas, and multiple hand sanitization stations located throughout the facility. The climbing walls and arcade areas will be frequently sanitized with a special disinfectant spray, designed to reduce the potential spread of germs. Masks are required for anyone inside unless participating in an activity that requires strenuous cardio.
“We are committed to working within the state guidelines and CDC recommendations so that our guests feel comfortable enjoying all of our resources,” explains Iron Peak General Manager Sandra Weingart.
Iron Peak Sports & Events is open every day and can be visited between 3pm-10pm Monday through Friday, and from 8am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
