Apex Sports & Events Announces New Open Date
State-of-the-art sports, entertainment, and event facility to open next Spring
(Hillsborough, NJ) November 4, 2019: After unanticipated construction delays pushed back its opening, Apex Sports & Events is now making significant progress toward a Spring 2020 open date.
“We recently discovered some site conditions that were unforeseen, which delayed installation of our turf fields and parking lots,” explains Gregg Wilke, Apex’s owner and managing partner. “We’ve been able to work through these issues and develop long-term solutions that will ensure the viability of the complex for years to come.”
Construction at the site is now moving ahead at full steam. Steel framing started going up in late September, the field lights have been erected, and the installation of the turf fields should be completed over the course of the next few weeks.
“It’s been exciting to watch the project come to life, and it’s been amazing to see the progress that’s being made on a daily basis,” states Fred Ewig, Business Development and Events Director at Apex Sports & Events.
“We just know that, when Apex is completed, it’s going to be a fantastic place for the entire community,” exclaims Wilke. “We’d like to thank everyone for their support and we look forward to seeing you when we open our doors next spring.”
