When our counselor is talking we need to be listening. The proper way to listen is to give your full attention to the person talking. No interupting, no side conversations.
If you need to leave the activity or have a question go to your counselor first and ask them.
Be kind to your fellow campers. We are all here to have fun!
Some of our friends may not be able to do the same things you can do. Some of our friends need a little more time to understand. Do not get frustrated, offer to help and together we achieve more!
Never leave your group. Never go out on your own. Ask your counselor to accompany you if you need to leave the activity or the group for any reason.
Win with humility and lose with grace. We cannot win every game but we can try our best and depend on our team to give their best effort. It is important to remember that the spirit of competition and teamwork is the most important thing. There will always be another game, another challenge, and another opportunity to win!
There is never a reason to put your hands on another camper. If an issue arises speak to your counselor. It takes strength to be calm, and talk about it. It shows weakness when we lose control.
Whether you’re a parent looking for a place for your kids for the summer, or a camp leader looking for a cool new destination for a field trip, fill out our form below and one of our team members will be in touch with you.
