(Hillsborough, NJ) – Iron Peak Sports & Events is set to assume club operations for Hillsborough Soccer Club following the conclusion of the Spring 2024 Season. This transition, effective this month, will pave the way for a seamless integration leading up to the formation of the 2024-25 Fall/Spring teams by early July.
Since its inception in 1976, Hillsborough Soccer Club (HSC) has been synonymous with delivering top-tier soccer programming to Hillsborough residents. Catering to players aged U8 – U18 across two skill levels – the Mid-New Jersey Division and the EDP Division – HSC has been a cornerstone of our community’s athletic landscape.
“I am thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with Iron Peak and Hillsborough Soccer Club,” expressed David McGillivary, Director of Soccer at Iron Peak. “Preserving the rich legacy and quality standards of HSC remains our paramount objective.”
Established in 2020, Iron Peak has swiftly made its mark in the club sports domain with initiatives like the Yeti & Team Elevation Basketball programs. As a multifaceted facility for training, recreation, events, and entertainment, Iron Peak is dedicated to fostering a sense of community among sports enthusiasts of all ages.
Gregg Wilke, Owner of Iron Peak, shared his vision, saying, “Iron Peak Sports & Events aims to unite our community through sports. Having witnessed my children flourish in the HSC program, I am eager to elevate it further under the Iron Peak banner.”
Upon assuming club operations, Iron Peak Sports & Events will oversee player registrations, game scheduling, and other administrative tasks. The restructured setup will include a 5-person advisory board comprising former Executive Board members from HSC, ensuring continuity and excellence in service.
