Weingart is the General Manager of Iron Peak Sports and Events in Hillsborough, New Jersey. She is an experienced, service-oriented leader with a rich background in nonprofit systems, sports & fitness organizations, and start-up and renovation projects. Her stronger skill sets speak to facility operations, program creation and management, youth development, grant writing, community engagement, branding, and a strong sales acumen. She is a passionate and driven professional with roots in journalism, education, coaching, and social service. Her career is marked by a reputation of successfully building or re-designing organizations, start-ups, or individual departments – in large part due to a unique focus on setting positive culture, policy creation, attention to detail, team building, work ethic, and a passion for innovation and selling.
Weingart grew up partially in the New Brunswick, NJ area and partially in upstate New York near Ithaca. In her youth, she excelled in a variety of sports – basketball, soccer, baseball, track & field, and was a Junior Olympic qualifying swimmer. She played NCAA D1 soccer in college in Tennessee and a year of semi-pro in Portland, Oregon.
Dave joins Iron Peak with over 12 years experience in the sports world and managed 20+ clubs of all sizes. Hailing from Dublin, Ireland Dave’s passion for sports was instilled at an early age where he played lots of different sports before moving into coaching professionally where he has coached players from as young as 3 to the pro level. He believes in developing young athletes’ game across tactical, technical, physical, and mental aspects. His ultimate goal is creating a framework where athletes’ can succeed and achieve their highest potential. Holding multiple certifications in Coaching, Psychological and Fitness for Youth Development, and more, Dave brings his wealth of knowledge in all things sports to Iron to see young athletes reach their peak.
Fred has spent the bulk of his professional career in the sports and events industry, starting 20 years ago with the New Jersey Devils. After a brief detour working for Yahoo!, Fred realized that he needed to return to something he was passionate about. He worked for two seasons in minor league baseball for the Newark Bears as their Director of Fan Development, before moving to the Gazelle Group, a sports marketing company based in Princeton. For nearly 12 years, he was involved in every aspect of producing Division I college basketball events across the country, including at Madison Square Garden and Prudential Center.
In January 2019, Fred was named the Business Development & Events Director at Apex Sports & Events, where he has been responsible for overseeing the re-branding to Iron Peak Sports & Events, as well as working with local, regional, and national organizations looking to bring sporting events to Somerset County. Fred currently resides in Lawrenceville with his three kids, and his very patient and understanding wife.
Andrew comes to Hillsborough after spending many years in NYC, where he installed and operated some of the most high-profile ice rinks in America. His experience working in logistics and operations for Tough Mudder was a good natural fit for operating our CLIFFHANGER elements, and his construction and facility management experience helps keep Iron Peak the premiere sports facility in the region.
A native of Queens, NY, he completed his Bachelor’s in Operations Management and his M.B.A in Sports and Entertainment Management out on Long Island at Hofstra University. While at Hofstra, he played DI Roller Hockey as well as club Baseball and Ultimate. Andrew also spent three years with the coaching staff of the nationally ranked DI Hofstra Softball team, and following his internship at Harvard, returned to Hofstra to coach Roller Hockey up until 2020. He continues to compete in Roller Hockey in both the Professional Inline Hockey Association and State Wars Pro, and is on a quest to visit all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums.
Born and raised in Jersey City NJ, Bridget grew up playing softball, baseball, football, cheer, and ballet. After serving two years in the Air Force ending at the rank of E4 (Aero Mechanic) she moved into Finances over 15 years ago in telecommunications and never looked back. Bridget is a very active mom of two (17 and 12). Bridget has spent most of her life surrounded by sports and still to this day plays any sport she can. Currently, Bridget plays Co-ed softball every week.
Bridget joined the Iron Peak Team at the end of 2020 ready and willing to take on the challenge. She feels it is a natural fit because of her sports background.
Piers joined the Iron Team in February of 2020 after working for many years in aquatics as Assistant Aquatics/Waterfront Director, Swim Lesson Coordinator, Marine Safety Officer, and Head Lifeguard at Lake Mohawk. With a strong background in youth programs and coaching, he knew he would fit in well at Iron Peak. His stronger skill set is rooted in marketing analytics, campaign management, and creative design.
Piers spent most of his youth in England. Heavily involved in school and club sports, he has experience playing rugby, field hockey, cricket, soccer, tennis, basketball, track & field, and more. After moving to the United States, Piers began swimming competitively, making his way to multiple Nationals meets in 2013/14. He played DII Rugby in college for Slippery Rock University where he received his Bachelor’s Degrees in Integrated Marketing & Communication and an M.B.A specializing Marketing & Management.
