(Hillsborough, NJ) April 8 2022:
Iron Peak Sports & Events New Jersey’s premier venue for sports, events, and family entertainment venue, along with its YETI Youth Program, put together spring-themed gift bags for the local youth of Hillsborough this past Friday. The gift baskets will be donated to local families in partnership with the Hillsborough Community Assistance Network (C.A.N.) which provides services to roughly 70 families within Hillsborough Township, with the help of local individuals and organizations who support their programs. Among those in attendance were Hillsborough Mayor Shawn Lipani, Deputy Mayor Janine Erickson and Social Services Administrative Assistant Lee Santaromita to assist the players and their parents in assembling the packages.

“I’d like to thank Iron Peak for bringing the kids together to support a great cause and to learn about giving back,” said Hillsborough Mayor Shawn Lipani. “Iron Peak has always been great about reaching out to the community and we look forward to doing more of these events in the future.”

The Iron Peak YETI youth program, now in its second year, is headquartered at Iron Peak Sports & Events. This YETI focuses on player development at all levels, both on and off the court.

“We’re so happy to have the opportunity to spread some Spring cheer among the community in hopes to bring some smiles to the faces of the kids of Hillsborough,” said YETI Director of Basketball Operations Coach Scott Kallens.
